About the Warm Homes: Local Grant

The Warm Homes: Local Grant is run by councils and funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Only your council, or the delivery partner it names, can decide whether you are eligible, what work is funded and when it happens. Applying through GOV.UK or your council is free. Nothing on this site is an offer of a grant, a promise that you will qualify, or an assessment of your home.

The council lookup and eligible postcode checker reproduce official GOV.UK and DESNZ data as published on the dates shown. Councils change their capacity and routes during the scheme, and DESNZ can change the rules, so always confirm with your council before relying on a result.

Firms you are introduced to

Any contract you make is between you and that firm. They are responsible for their quotes, work, guarantees and conduct. Check their registration and insurance yourself before you agree to anything; our guides explain which register to look up.
